So, I turn 25 this year and one of my “adult” goals to become more of a wine aficionado. I mean, a girl can only try and order sweet riesling so many times before people think she’s A) a total amateur or B) a total weirdo. I’ve been looking for an intimate wine tasting event, and it looks like I’ve come across one for a good cause (of course)!
On Wednesday, July 30th, the Young Executives for Success or Y.E.S! Chicago, the young professionals group for Dress for Success Chicago, will host their summer wine tasting event, Summer Sipping. The event will take place at Juicy Wine Company (694 N. Milwaukee Ave) and will last from 7-9p.
Tickets are $35 for Y.E.S! members and $40 for non-members, and it includes a tasting of over 20 summer wines and a tasting of some appetizers. Guests will have the opportunity to learn a thing or two from Alpana Singh, author of Alpana Pours, and someone who definitely knows her wine!
