Gigi’s Closet ‘Bras for Charity’ Program

2 04 2009

Ladies, how many of us have unused bras that just occupy our drawers and boudoirs? Instead of letting them just sit there, perhaps you should consider donating them.

Gigi’s Closet, an online lingerie retailer, launched Bras for Charity to collect unused and gently worn bras and donate them to women in need who may not be able to afford properly fitting bras.

Here is how it works:

-Customers can use the free return shipping option to send donated bras back to the boutique, or

-Simply pop your bras in an envelope and mail to:

  Gigi’s Closet

  c/o Bras for Charity

  17 Martin Ct.

  Newtown, PA 18940

The bras are then donated to the Goodwill facilities in Bucks County, PA and funds raised by the non-profit organization will go directly towards job training, job placement and education within the community. If you’re looking for some new styles, Gigi’s has a selection from brands such as Betsey Johnson, Chantelle, and Huit. You can never have enough undergarments…Especially not the pretty kind. Ha 🙂

Hey K,

I wish I’d known about this last week because I surely cleaned out my bra drawers and threw away the ones that didn’t fit. Yeah…..I threw them away….. 😦
